About Us
Our Mission
We strive to contribute to the global effort of promoting heart health and reducing mortality from cardiovascular diseases.

Our Background
The Foundation was born out of the extraordinary journey of Mercy Azoh-Mbi.
Shortly after arriving in Ottawa with her two young children, Mercy’s life took an unexpected and devastating turn. On October 23, 2009, she experienced fatigue, fever, headaches, and blurred vision. What seemed like a routine illness quickly escalated into a life-threatening condition.
What We DO
1. Screening & Testing
We offer free medical clinics where individuals are screened for heart disease. Those at high risk receive specialized testing for early detection and timely intervention.

2. Treatment & Counseling
We establish and coordinate a global network of cardiologists and cardiac institutions committed to sponsoring or providing free heart-related healthcare services to underprivileged communities.
3. Prevention, Education & Outreach
We organize outreach programs to educate the public on heart disease, its risk factors, and preventive measures to promote heart-healthy lifestyles.

4. Heart Health Centers & Clinics
We support the establishment of community-based heart health centers that raise awareness and provide essential services for the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases.
5. Capacity Building
We enhance the skills and knowledge of medical institutions and healthcare professionals in developing countries, equipping them to better diagnose, treat, and manage heart conditions.

6. Research & Funding
We provide financial and technical support to medical students and researchers in developing countries, promoting advancements in cardiac care and treatment.
