Who We Are

The EnowAgbor Foundation (EAF) is a non-profit organisation based in Cameroon that works to improve the quality of life for vulnerable individuals, particularly young people, women, and girls, by providing access to education, healthcare, socio-economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

We believe that sustainable development begins with inclusion, justice, and shared opportunity.

1. Access to Education & Socio-Economic Empowerment

We empower young people, women and girls by providing them with access to education, vocational training and entrepreneurship programs.
Our initiatives include:

Scholarships and school support for children
Vocational and business training for women and young people
Mentorship and financial literacy programs

Empowering one young person has the potential to transform an entire community.

2. Access to Basic Social Services

The EnowAgbor Foundation supports vulnerable families by improving their access to healthcare, nutrition, shelter and social assistance.
Activities include:

Medical outreach and health education
Distribution of food and clothing to underprivileged families
Partnerships with clinics to provide affordable care.

3. Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention & Response

We create safe spaces for women and girls and educate communities about preventing GBV.

Our approach:

Community and school-based awareness campaigns
Counselling and psychosocial support for survivors
Economic empowerment for victims of abuse.

4. Environmental Sustainability

The EnowAgbor Foundation promotes a cleaner, greener Cameroon by encouraging communities to adopt eco-friendly practices.
Programs include:

Tree planting;
Clean-up campaigns.
Environmental education in schools
Waste management and recycling projects.

News and Update

Empowering Women Through Tailoring Skills

The training session brought together women from diverse backgrounds united by a shared desire to become self-reliant and improve their economic situation. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of tailoring, including fabric measurement, cutting, stitching and finishing techniques, all of which can easily be turned into income-generating opportunities.

EAF Supports Underprivileged Children with Basic School Supplies

Through this initiative, we distributed essential learning materials such as exercise books, pens and pencils to children from low-income backgrounds. The initiative aimed to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to learn comfortably and pursue their dreams.

Breast Cancer Awareness in Yaoundé

The session focused on the early detection and prevention of breast cancer, as well as access to treatment, with the aim of empowering participants with the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their health.
